·       Systems Analysis and Design – Studied how different information systems work and how to improve them logically. Used TogetherSoft for systems modeling and design.

·       Business Information Systems – Studied different types of information infrastructures and architectures and how to use them to optimize a business’ operation.

·       Internetworking – Studied how computers are networked and the different protocols used.

·       Database Design and Management – Used Oracle and SQL Server.

·       Programming – Took two courses each in both C++ and Java.

·       Microsoft Office Knowledge – Word, Internet Explorer, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.

·       Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship @ VCU – Served on the leadership team of IVCF for over four years. IVCF seeks to provide VCU students a place of Christian worship and growth. IVCF also organizes outreach projects for those less fortunate in the community. (1999 – 2004)

·       Internship for Governor’s Office – Served in the Governor’s Apprenticeship Program for three years under Governor George Allen. The position involved clerical work as well as data entry. (1995 – 1997)

·       Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development – [Intern] Worked in the Building Regulation Division. The position was comprised of working with an existing Access database performing modifications as well as data entry. (Jan, 2004 – Present)

·       T.G.I.Fridays – [Server] The atmosphere of the position was very high pressure and speed oriented. In order to succeed I had to please customers who did not have a complete grasp on what they wanted. Also the job required that I would know how to gracefully handle customers who were hard to please or had overly high expectations. (2001 – 2003)

·       Ukrop’s Super Markets Inc. – [Courtesy Clerk] Ukrop’s is an extremely customer-oriented atmosphere, where pleasing the customer is the highest priority. The expectations were very high for customer satisfaction. I was expected to have an attitude that was very kind, welcoming, and helpful.
